Privacy Policy — M-CODE
The short version
M-CODE collects no personal data. None. The app has no advertising, no analytics, no user accounts, no in-app purchases, and does not request the permission to access the internet — so it is technically incapable of sending your data anywhere.
Data stored on your device
The game saves the following on your device only, so the game works:
- your level progress and best scores,
- your settings (such as sound on/off).
This data never leaves your device, is not readable by other apps, and is deleted when you uninstall the app. You can also erase your progress at any time with the game's "Reset Progress" function.
Sharing images
The game offers an optional "share" feature for pictures generated by the game (your score card, or the picture you reveal by playing). Sharing only happens when you tap the share button, and the image is handed to an app you choose (for example a messaging app) through Android's standard share dialog. What happens to the image afterwards is governed by the privacy policy of the app you select. M-CODE itself does not upload the image anywhere.
Permissions
M-CODE requests no runtime permissions. In particular it does not request internet access, location, contacts, camera, microphone, or storage beyond its own app-private folder.
Children
The app is a puzzle game with no chat, no external links inside gameplay, no ads and no data collection, and is suitable for a general audience.
Third parties
No third-party SDKs that collect data are included in the app. (Earlier versions, up to 1.3, showed Google AdMob advertising and offered a Google Play Billing purchase; both were removed entirely in version 2.0.)
Your rights (GDPR)
Because we do not collect or process any personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on our side. Everything the game knows lives in your hands, on your device. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at the address above and we will be happy to help.
Changes
If a future version of the game ever changes what data is handled, this policy will be updated and the effective date above revised before that version is released.
